'WAR ON TERROR' BECAME 'THE LONG WAR', NOW BUSH CALLS IT 'WORLD WAR III'

President Bush has called the revolt of passengers on Flight 93, on the morning of September 11, "the first counter-attack to World War III."

Flight 93 was allegedy hijacked by terrorists and was heading towards the White House, or the Capitol Building, in Washington, DC, when a number of the passengers are said to have fought back against the terrorists, resulting in the airliner crashing into a field in Pennsylvania.

"It was, it was unbelievably heroic of those folks on the airplane to recognize the danger and save lives," President Bush said during an interview.

He went on to describe the terrorist attacks as the start of World War III.

President Bush has repeatedly said the US was at war with terrorists, "we're a nation at war", and that the War On Terror involved "the nations of the world". But this was the first time President Bush had specifically referred to the 'War On Terror, or 'The Long War', as "World War III."

We here at The Fourth World War disagree with the US President that this is "World War III". We go with the view of numerous historians and intelligence experts who say the Cold War was , in fact, the Third World War, making the current war 'The Fourth World War.
